Fees
All fees are agreed prior to the start of therapy. Fees are payable by cheque or cash at the end of each therapy session, unless otherwise agreed.
Initial Assessment: £75
- Up to 20 min initial consultation on the telephone
- 15 min planning time
- Approximately 1 hour with client for assessment For children with complex needs additional assessment time may be required, £60 per hour pro rata
- Scoring of assessment, writing up notes
- Written summary of assessment results & therapy goals (to be provided within 2 weeks)
- 1 telephone consultation to another professional (if required)
Direct Therapy: 30 min - £30, 45 min - £45, 60 min - £60
- 15 min planning and material preparation
- Materials for home practise
- Therapy session - 30, 40, 60 min as agreed, which includes direct work with child and discussion with parent/teacher
- 10 min writing up notes
Indirect Therapy: Home Programme £40 per hour
- Depending on the complexity of the programme, preparation may take from 30 min to 2 hours. An estimate of the time required will be provided.
- Materials provided.
Review of Progress: £60
- Review usually follows a 2 -3 month break from therapy, or following a home programme
- 45 min directly reviewing child's progress, formal assessment if necessary
- 15 min preparation time, 15 min writing up notes
- Written summary of progress.
Detailed Reports: £50 per hour
* Detailed assessment and progress reports can be provided on request. An estimate of the time required to write the report will be provided. Depending on the complexity of the child's difficulties a report may take from 1 hour to 4 hours to prepare.
Other Services:
- Telephone calls and letters to parents / other professionals (excluding calls to schedule appointments) up to 15min - Free, over 15min - £30 per hour pro rata
- Attendance at meetings - £70 per hour pro rata
- Visits to nursery/school to consult with staff (not a therapy session) - £60 per hour pro rata. Including provision of written advice.
Travel: 40 pence per mile expenses, + travel time over 30 mins will be charged at £10 per hour pro rata
Due to the rural nature of the area covered travel time will be charged as outlined above. Cost will be agreed prior to therapy. Every effort will be made to keep costs low.
